I’m A Survivor Mission: LitterBugz CleanUp

June 15 @ 5:00 pm EDT

I’m A Survivor is a movement and mission to rebuild villages within communities that are broken. On Saturday, June 15th, 2019, we will be participating in “I’m A Survivor” 2nd Annual March and Rally promoting life and unity for the community.

WHAT:  I’m a Survivor Mission Litter Clean-Up
COORDINATOR:  Jeff Schlekie
WHEN:  June 15th at 5:00 pm
MEET-UP:  12212 St. Claire Ave. Cleveland OH 44108, look for green shirts!
WHY:  Litter destroys communities.

CLEAN-UP EVENT DESCRIPTION:  Before we divide into teams, volunteers are taught how to recycle and are educated on the effects of litter.  We will spread out in teams of five, removing as much litter as possible in just 45 minutes.  Volunteers will primarily focus on removing litter from the event area, local sidewalks, playgrounds, and parks.  Litter is everywhere.  The 44108 mission clean-up is an opportunity for employees or students to receive community service hours.
Our cleaning events are organized passionately by people who volunteer to pick up litter. We encourage others to create change in hopes to inspire an environmentally friendly culture. Litter is a distraction. Litter also disturbs people. Without litter, resources are more accessible. People tend to gravitate towards cleaner areas spending more money with local businesses. Making the environment more attractive improves the economy.
