Teaching in Response to #metoo

October 11 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

Most people seem to know that the revival of the #metoo movement has hit Hollywood and, to some extent, Washington. It has also hit the literary world. In advance of the Cleveland visit of #metoo founder Tarana Burke (https://www.universitycircle.org/events/2018/10/16/think-forum-lecture-tarana-burke), please join English teacher Charles Ellenbogen and Cleveland Public Library’s Youth Outreach and Programming Coordinator, Erica Marks for a discussion of how those of us who read, teach, recommend and purchase literature might think about responding.

The discussion will take place on Thursday, October 11 from 5-7 in the Martin Luther King branch of the Cleveland Public Library. Light refreshments will be provided.
